The much-awaited Tata Altroz is about to launch in a few days. Tata has now gained the trust of Indians by its rock-solid build quality and refinement. The Tiago, Tigor, and Nexon were well accepted with its safety features and reliability. In fact, Nexon was ahead of all the competitors in terms of Global N-Cap rating starring 5 stars in crash tests. The Harrier also set a flagship image to Tata Motors, which was a very bulky yet a massive SUV.
Now the news and reviews of Tata Altroz are spreading across the internet and have got a good impression so far with its design itself. Tata calls it Laser design, which is inspired by Laser carving giving it a sharp look. The headlamp cluster has got both projector and halogen clusters for better visibility, wrapped by a lower chrome trim. The fog lamp holds a DRL that gives a signature appearance. The ORVMs have been coated with piano black finish with chrome inserts, which is a new combo. The side looks are more welcoming with 16″ dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels. Tata calls the window design as comet shooting, which brings in more brightness and more view to the surroundings. The exterior design looks like it will please many, unlike the design of some cars which may look awkward. The rear door handle is neatly integrated into the c-pillar and the rear spoiler also adds to the sporty look. The 90 degrees opening doors provide easiness to get in and out.
Coming to the interior, Tata has done an excellent job in aligning and placing all the needed stuff neatly and practically. Tata calls this design as a floating island layout. The Harman powered infotainment system provides all the latest connectivity features with ambient lighting. The dashboard has got classic satin chrome finish. The digital instrument cluster is surely a mind-blowing one, with its 17.78 cm TFT display and has got all the details like navigation, music controls, engine conditions, etc with its controls on the steering wheel. The metal finished inside door handles and leather-wrapped steering wheels gives a luxury look and feel to the inside.
When it comes to the safety, the Altroz has got dual airbags, ABS with EBD, CSC (Corner stability control), Height adjustable seatbelts, ISOFIX anchorage child seats,shock-absorbing body frame, etc. I wish to list out all the features here.
